Primavera 2010

Have you manged to catch Primevera for this year at the Museum of Contemporary Art(MCA)  Sydney. I have to admit for the first time in a number of years I was pleasantly surprised when I went to see the show last weekend.  Primavera 2010 is the Museum’s annual exhibition showcasing the work of Australian artists aged 35 years and under.  Artists in the show are Akira Akira, Julie Fragar, Agatha Gothe-Snape, James Newitt, Alasdair McLuckie, Jackson Slattery and Emma White. The selection of artists and their works are coherent and yet to me this is what works about the exhibition. Check it out its running until 21 November 2010
