Tokujin Yoshioka

At first glance it is easy to think that perhaps Tokujin Yoshioka is  trying to  mimic the beauty of nature. However when you delve beneath the surface of his work you can see the ways in which his work is an exploration of the elements in nature that resonate within most of us.  This recent installation (called “The Snow), consists of hundreds of kilograms of feathers,  that are being blown around a 15 meter long tank, evoking the memories of a snowcape that lie within the viewers heart.
